Business Unit OverviewWe re looking for a passionate individual from a sales, consulting, tech or digital background who can help us define what s next for our clients, then work with our cross functional teams to make it happen. The successful candidate will be the product lead of our sales planning tools and prescriptive selling programs. The Product Manager will understand how various types of data will influence the sales process and work with product management peers to ensure these products fit seamlessly into the ecosystem. The candidate should be creative, detailed and very client service oriented. Furthermore, this candidate should be able to coordinate work among a large set of stakeholders to achieve a goal. You ll sit as part of the Sales Enablement team, and be a virtual member of the Retail and iShares Sales channel teams. Additional you ll work on digital sales strategy, enabling our sales channels and the firm to build deeper relationship with clients by driving the development of technology and data products. Depending on the project, you could get involved in anything from understanding client purchase journeys, to operational change programmes or technical details on investing products, but it will always involve some level of cultural change. The client sales teams you ll focus on cover what we call the Wealth/Retail segment retail and online banks, fund platforms, financial advisers, private banks, discretionary fund managers, and private investors. Key Responsibilities Take the lead on projects or work streams within larger programmes, solving problems, both big and small. Create impactful reports/presentations to communicate with working groups and/or management. Contribute to project plans, outlining clear objectives, work streams, KPIs and timings. Keep a constant eye on the impact of digital client solutions, analysing the effectiveness for constant evolution. Take the lead in workshops, meetings, research, stakeholder engagement, business analysis, technical analysis and solution design as part of both client projects and internally focused innovation projects. Show interest in topics beyond current project priorities: provide insights and support to other strategy projects. Be flexible to travel and work across Europe. Being a creative thought leader and partner to other Product Managers as Sales Enablement builds out the complete Sales Team Ecosystem solution Becoming an internal expert around the nuances of data source availability within the broader product solution Owning the design and development of our suite of Sales Planning Tools (e.g., Lead management, pipeline management, Call Planning, book coverage) Coordinate stakeholder interviews and continuous learning of needs Document business requirements and develop effective control mechanisms to ensure quality Manage a queue of tasks, projects, and enhancements, and understand the relative cost/benefit of each. Clearly communicate status to the team and our partners. Provide UAT and post production QC support. Ideally practiced (but at least familiar with) agile ways of working, including scrums, sprints, time boxing, liaising with customers throughout the entire solution delivery lifecycle etc. Ability to engage diverse set of stakeholders across a matrix organisation, understand viewpoints and build long term relationships. A balance of logical problem solving and innovative thinking. Strong attention to detail, collaborative with a positive, can do attitude, adaptable and not above any task. Qualifications BA/BS required focus in Business, Finance, Computer Science or related fields preferred but not essential Excellent presentation skills (oral and written) and analytical skills Design / user experience a plus Technology application design experience a plus including knowledge in design software (e.g., Balsamiq, Axure) Strong self motivation and ability to lead work streams relatively independently Ability to multi task, managing long complex projects alongside urgent high priority tasks. Experience with CRM and other software applications used by a sales organization 5 7+ year experience in industry business 3+ years of experience writing requirements documents and functional specifications as well as project/task management 2+ years of experience using BI tools e.g. Tableau, Business Objects etc. A deep understanding of the software development life cycle and agile practices.
